Eyecolor is a surprisingly big deal, too, when trying to sell dragons. Some people are reaaaally picky about having matchy eyes with the dragon's colors. The competing is called Dominance. Dominance pushes are a competitive thing to see who can raise the most points via exalting dragons each week. Whichever flight wins gets various perks. Second and third place also get perks, although not as good. If the flights slack off, then the NPC slot, the Beastclans, win a spot and nobody gets that level of perks that week.
Because each flight has their own specific forum only they can see. It's to plan for dominance or profit pushing. Each week flights put their dominance skills to the test by exalting dragons (or selling babies to give money to raffles for dom pushes etc.) And if you place top three you get market place discounts and extra gathering turns. So each flight has their own "secret" forum so to speak. Also yeah ppl are really picky about eyes. Im in light flight because I used to breed for profit and ice, light and wind were eyes that went with a lot of combos. I don't breed anymore so I may save up to go back to my original flight (shadow). Speaking of, you get one free flight change in case you don't like nature. You also get one free name change. After that it costs gems. Each change has a 6mo cooldown before you can change again.

Damn the thing better not be expanded before the LvP dom fight, I'm already having to stop breeding my dudes so I'll be able to get new colours asap when it happens. It happening during a dom battle (and such a major one!) means I won't have the space to hatch :(

So remember a while back when I was trying to sell the FirstGen Noc I had? (Where she was breed-changed during the first NoTN so is actually older than most of the other nocs by a half a year) The person I settled on a price for her for seems to be ignoring my messages. :V What do I do?
I'm tempted to try and coli train her to lv 25 and then sell her again? though, on my internet connection coli training is nigh impossible.
yeah it's super pretty :3 dresses for lady and lad dragons alike! Also, gotta vent a little- bit frustrated with the coliseum. Leveling's gotten INCREDIBLY slow and tedious because, while I've been consulting guides on how to assign stat points, every venue is progressively more difficult and slow even if I'm technically overleveled for the venue (and thus can't even get victory chains), all because I lack Eliminate and Ambush stones for my team. But what's a newbie supposed to do? They're very expensive to buy (I have scarcely any treasure and I want to save up for genes and whatnot anyways), and the odds of getting a lucky Pinkerton pick or one dropping in the coliseum seem pretty damn astronomical- I've been slaughtering my way through the Training Fields for hours and seen nary a one. arrrrgh. edit: in other news, the first and only familiar I've dropped into Baldwin's Brew yielded a Gold Muck. nice. :P :P
