PLOT SO FAR: weird silver devices activated by lophii (a seatroll) and scribe 17 (a content illuminator from a hivecity waaay back in alternian prehistory) have transported scribe to lophii's modern alternia. while they cope with this, iridie (a blueblood) gets brutally mauled and reaches out to her friend lophii for help. lophii brings scribe along for the ride, who assists in amputation of iridie's arm and dispenses a genuinely pornographic amount of emotional support. PROFILE POST THING Iridie Arazir Spoiler: Pictures Horns as drawn by Void Spoiler: Other Stuff Sign: Cygnus Blood Color: 0023c7 Body Stuff: About, idk, five-foot-sevenish? She's very slender as well, with long legs and arms. Her hair is about to her shouldersblades, and can get quite fluffy a la Rue from Princss Tutu. She has quite a few scars (including one under her right eye from Ailesi.) And, of course, she now has an arm missing. I'm not sure about the details of her prosthetic. I think something where it's white but has a lot of glittery-blue veining on the chitin might work? Also it probably has the Princess Tutu pendant thing on it, but in blue and silver instead of red and gold. Colors: Normal troll-grey skin, though she doesn't go out in the sun too often and isn't whatever the troll equivalent of tanned is. Her hair has mutant blue streaks in it as can be seen on the sprite. Her clothes tend towards the darker, though she does experiment with color variations a lot, and has played around with shade to see what she can do to make her brighter colors stand out less. Clothes: Iridie favors balletic-looking clothes. Stretchy, comfortable clothes that she can move around in are her favorite (as are floaty skirts, though she wears those less often.) She also has a few fasionable armor pieces that can be worn as formalwear, gorgets and arm-greave-things and such.
Mock trolls is the RP between Roach's Scribe 17, Liz's Lophii Anaiya, and my Iridie Arazir. We decided to move the RP from tumblr to Kintsugi because the interface is better.
Profile Post Lophii Anaiya Spoiler: Pics Spoiler: Description Sign: Aqua Regia Blood Color: #4a004a Strifespecibus: 1) throwing net (preferred) 2) mini harpoon gun Lusus: Anglercrocmom Physical Description: About 7 and a quarter sweeps old. Lophii is a bit on the runty side for a seadweller at only 5'9 and some change, but they have time to grow. Their hair comes just past their shoulders when let down, but they normally keep it up and pulled back from their face whenever possible. They don't have any notable scars, but their style of dress is quite distinctive, ranging between "wear the whole closet" and "who needs a shirt?" They will always decorate themself with bits and bobs of jewelry though. Personality: Lophii is quite affable and easy going for a seatroll. They like to poke fun at new people they meet to see how they react and why, which has earned them a (completely fallacious) reputation for being a pitch flirt. Really, they're just a figurative troll as well as a literal one. They haven't had opportunity to make a lot of friends, but the ones they do have they are ferociously loyal to, and will bend over backwards to help and protect.
So, since it seems like no one has ideas for stuff to do in the main rp, would anyone want to try an AU? Maybe urban fantasy or something, I still like the idea of Iridie as an obscure Slavic murderfairy.
I hope this counts for mocktrolls as well just for the connections with Iridie's chosen career/fashionstyle of 'murder ballerina.'
I absolutely endorse it applying to Murder Ballerina. I think Iridie just basically picked the equivalent of Troll spec ops for a career and went hard.
what if troll ballet was performed while in the middle of a hostile mob of enemy combatants? the point of the performance is to clear the stage and complete the dance with an absolute minimum of deviation from ancient preset choreography— different 'parts' are assigned different weapons in traditional combinations. so like, a troupe of professional ballerinas are dropped in the middle of an active invasion and livecast. consider also: ballerinannihilators.
i thought we did have ideas for the main rp? they were going to go visit another friend and take scribe along to see if anyone knew anything about an escaped test subject or yeti hybrid or whatever the fuck she was. and then maybe lose her at a mall. and at some point lophii was going to get dragged back in time with scribe when they started fooling around with the spheres. if lophii and scribe (and iridie when they figure out how to take her along) are bouncing around in time, them wandering around alternia in the desert apocalypse after sgrub's reckoning for awhile would be interesting too.
Ah yeah! Well, I meant more that people seemed to be writers-blocked for what to happen next in the rp. You know, how to actually have events happen, kind of thing. But I think that was more due to lack of spoons available than idea-blocks. Also, the Alternian ballet stuff sounds great! Though I'm wondering how they get music in... Well, they ARE trolls, probably they could afford to have giant speaker-bats flying around. Or everyone has earpieces like in those clubs where all the music is through headphones.
Earpieces seems more plausible but this IS trolls we're talking about, so probably the bat thing. Also I think I'm more stuck on how we should end this scene rather than a general where to go next.
