Vampires, and Lykens its time to play!(open RP)

Victoria gets ready to go to the armory when she runs into the gnome hows name is George.

 

"Oh! Are you Victoria Rose? I'm Cyprian, I was looking for a place to stay and there was a voice that said I should come here -"

 

Maggie's eyes narrowed. Yep, this wasn't right. "Sorry, when exactly did anyone here say we were going to stay here and clean up your mess for you?"

 

"So this is a... a hunting party?" Ambrose asks, trying very hard not to look overtly disgusted at the decor.
Chance looks around at all the people attached to tubes. "I think I solved the mystery of what's taking the townspeople."

 

the contessa draws herself up haughtily and brushes down her skirts. the bats in her hair stretch their wings and bare their teeth. her indignant anger makes her pale face as shining and beautiful as an angry moon.

"my lady victoria, i was under the impression this was to be a social call of goodwill between our two territories. i am no fledgeling servant or minion anymore, but a formidable power in my own right. i am certainly no woman's hired help: if you cannot manage the affairs of your own people then you cannot simply order one such as i about like a common mercenary. a second-hand old weapon and an amulet? promises of wishes? my own castle bears such treasures as to make yours seem a tawdry rummage shop!"

ebony glances haughtily around the room, taking the measure of her fellows. her ruby eyes flash magnificently with her emotions. "while some of you may be no better than you should be, i dare say more than one of your number is likewise born for better things than pest control."

 

"If you're looking for hirelings, talk to a mercenary company," Maggie said. At hee feet, Bingle whined before sniffing his way over to the bar and biting at the tubing. "What is it?"

The dog began barking, putting his paws up on the oil painting the tubes led to, scratching at it. Maggie walked over. "Hm. What's over here?"

 

You enter a large room with several people in it or what looks like people there is a debate going on of an adventure and

 

{ apparently there is a mix up on here my form of rp is like a campaign adventure and being new to the program not everyone has the whole D&D, Vampire the reckoning type play. If you so choose you may leave If you choose to stay it would be fine no hard feeling no problem. Up to you}

 

{I thought this was an open rp, not a campaign. No campaign or D+D/Vampire Masquerade/WOD was mentioned before. Can we still do the open RP here that everyone started and you can have the hardwired plot campaign separately?}

 

{ like I said I am new this program. I was advised to put the open rp because the person thought it ment anyone could join instead of a invited rp. Not the free run rp that most of you expected. If you choose to leave just say so and I will continue my campaign if not hang on cause it is fixing to get smelly and messy.

 

{If it is agreed upon all campaign bits will be deleted and the open rp can continue the campaign adventure will be on another page. }

You don't need to delete them. Just start a new thread and begin the campaign there, continuing from where you were here.

Maggie turned and shoved the oil painting off of the wall, sending it clattering to the floor, Bingle barking up a storm. She looked into the compartment exposed, up to where the tubes connected, as she heard Victoria. "Gods and little fishes," she said under her breath, before turning round, her hand on her sword hilt. "You... What in any god's name is this?! You hang men and women in your castle and ask us to torment your captives? Don't you have the decency that leeches are born with?"

 

"I am only doing to these that you see here what they had done to others of their kind. each one that I have in my possession have been turned over to me by the rulers of the town. Each one was caught in one act or another that has sealed their fate with me. Some one kills another they are mine to kill, some one rapes another they are mine to torture. Each one you see there has drained the blood from their victims, young children non the less, and feed it to other humans either pretending to be as we are or just demented in the head by far worse demons that I only dream of getting rid of. My Friends I do a job in this town and yes i get enjoyment out of some but for those who choose to be here like Gwendolyn , the wench, was doomed to stand in the stockades for what would have been the rest of her life tortured and misused for her crimes, I gave a better life for her free from the harms of men and women who would rather she be dead. I am not as bad as you think. Further more I keep this town clean from the rotting corpses of those who don't deserve to be laid to rest.

 

"Oh please, are you going to spout that bullshit and expect me to eat it? You're talking about justice and cleaning up like it means a damn thing to you when the truth is in our faces!" roared Magnhilda.

"If you gave half a gnat's shit about any of those high ideals, these people's lives would have ended long ago, at the end of a rope or the point of a sword. Instead you mount them on the rafters like they're casks and throw them in your dungeons to do fuck knows what to them! And you think that's just, you think that's right?"

"And for the record, ladyship, how the hell do you know what act they were caught in? Do you really want to bet that you haven't done this to someone whose only crime was being the town outcast, the one who had some land or property that the town council wanted or who had never fit in?" Magnhilda snarled. "And that's assuming you're telling the truth at all, that the townspeople aren't just throwing their undesirables up here to appease the horrific monster up in the castle!"

 

Cyprian is listening, wide-eyed and horrified. It might have been him, easily, trapped up here and hurt and scared. He's fairly sure he hasn't killed anyone - but how can he ever really be certain? Anything that he does when he's turned feels like a dream, one that you forget moments after waking.

"I don't want to hurt anyone," he says. "Anyone."

 

" The acts they are caught in I myself have seen though the blood . If you do not remember that I as vampire can see into their souls from their blood. { reference Underworld} I have are the records of the courts. ( opens the fireplace to reveal and room full of nothing but parchments neatly rolled in groups.) If you are uncomfortable with this you may leave I am not under any way shape or form keeping anyone who does not wish to stay. But remember I am a Vampire that is older and Born back in the days where we had no restraint on who was dinner. Monster no the elder Vampires that still live in the past and have fallen due to carelessness of their hunt those are monsters. Me ( laughs softy) I am the end those days and the end of death to beings like us."
