I am super in favour of magical spacefuture vaccinations with no needles.

It already exists - the problem is that there were sanitation issues. Kintsugi probably has a low enough population that you could probably autoclave the nozzle or switch out disposable parts after each use, though.

Cody is still glad she´s and android under the fluff, and therefore needs a good firewall rather than needles.

The stained glass is very pretty, and occasionally depicts things that haven't happened yet. Scheherazade doesn't technically run the religious services, but since she lives in the chapel anyway she's happy to help out if anyone asks.

Kay would have plenty of interesting stories about the chapel and its stained glass, if anyone asked her. But she's a radio host - what possible connection could a radio host have to mysteriously non-time-sensitive stained glass, not to mention transdimensional buildings?

Nah. She's just a community radio host. No need to think about that too hard.

Oh now here´s a thought. Can @TwoBrokenMirrors walk/communicate through the glass when it´s dark and the glass becomes reflective?

With that glass? My guess would be "yes, but God knows where you'd end up".

Perhaps Mirrors avoids going through that glass if at all possible ...

I'd like to mention, "church" is explicitely a christian temple, like a mosque is a muslim temple and a synagogue is a jewish temple, so I, personally (!), would be more comfortable if we didn't call that building a church, but instead a temple.

(Kite is sometimes there, at a little altar shapes like a blooming, multilayered flower, dedicated to "Mother Qhor", patron/goddess of the wayward)

Man, who even built the temple? Its style of architecture doesn't match the whole "weird alien doowops" that most of the rest of the place is, and it's temple-like in a very human way, although there are shrines dedicated to basically any god you can think of, and some you can't. Who's "the Burning Mother"? What's that idol with all the tentacles that moves when you don't look at it? Why won't Snitch enter the temple, at all?

It's like it dropped from the sky one day, but here it is, in the middle of the Kintsugi crater, and it is open for worship of anyone or anything you desire.

    Sure, no problem.

I've been trying to find a reference for it. I was thinking something like this(https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/...r_Chapel_view_-_geograph.org.uk_-_1630211.jpg), but without any specific Christian iconography, just generally Gothic architecture. Inside, it has about the right amount of rooms and space to match up with it's outside appearance, but an inordinate amount of doors, most of which lead to places that clearly couldn't fit in there, or just don't seem physically possible.

A small sign outside refers to it as the Temple of the Holy Gate.

Scheherazade has been putting small silver plaques on the doors to say where they lead, but she hasn't done all of them and her labelling system is somewhat eccentric. You've got relatively normal signs like "Laundry Room" and "Third Floor Toilet", others that are unusual but straightforward like "Inner Gardens" or "Reflecting Pool", and then there's ones that say things like "Emergency Clock Storage" or "Definitely Not Bees". Thankfully, all the ones that lead to places of worship are on the first floor, properly labeled, and easily accessible.

    "definitely not bees"

You open the door and wow, those are really not bees. And close it again. You vow to not open that door again.

Not sure what they are, but that's certainly not a bee. If you want bees, maybe check the gardens? Yeah, let's... let's just go there instead.

The fact that we decided to put Kintsugi's major source of medical care (also on the first floor, straight across the room from the front door) in a building that might be dedicated to or just actually be some sort of eldritch abomination might raise eyebrows, but Holy Gate doesn't seem malevolent, just bizarre. And if there's one quality most Kintsugijin share, it's a high tolerance for weird.

Well, it's central! And possibly is the cause of the crater we now live in. That's got to count for something!

Imagine if new worship rooms occur when someone with a different belief is nearby, and grow if there´s more believers.
(Is the temple related to the library purrhaps? The library has some oldfashioned looking sections, though the victorian-esque ones are definitely Cody´s influence showing)

Tailsona uses several of the more prehensile tails to hold suction cups, spray bottles, and rags and cleans off the roof-bubbles for several hours a day. While, in all probability, listening to the radio and occasionally calling the radio stations with corrections read out in a synthesized voice (again, Tailsona uses an augmented communication device to talk - can't talk by themselves).

Tailsona has the occasional actual opinion, yes, but 90+% of the time they call it's corrections and additional information.

@littlemissCodeless growing temple sounds awesome, relation to library is, erm, inconclusive. Kite tried getting a tissue sample for cross-referencing purposes, but when the library got wind of it being used to test its relation to the temple, the sample mysteriously disappeared, and all attempts at gaining more tissue samples, erm, failed.

(also, vaguely reminded of (body horror warning))
