Oh. Well then. I'll just ask Sunshine if coming back to life is really a thing that trolls can do if they get medical attention.

  4. Congessi

    Congessi problem child

It's not uncommon to share alts, especially among the Cybertronian factions, but I don't have a felinoid alt! As for the recording-- [she shrugs.] Don't know how it works really, ask a medic or an engineer.

    Alright! =]

[Oh no, her visor has gone too bright to clearly display text!! She hides her face in one hand and takes up Ref's offer with the other.]

I'll know what they'll say once they actually say it and no sooner.

Anhelia Aescar Life after death is harder than it looks

Well, that basically describes me except it is wasn't a natural secondary life cycle, rather an artificially induced one.

Fiction doesn't pertain to current medical science, except as inspiration.

Simple-- we find a troll medic, kill this Cronus, and let the medic demonstrate.

Ah, more useful! Quite intriguing-- is such resurrection common in Anhelia's world? How is it done? (On a pedantic note: it is possible to artificially induce certain natural reactions-- for us, twinning is the first that comes to mind. That the resurrection was artificial in Anhelia's case doesn't preclude natural processes following the same path.)

I don't think that would mean anything in here, since this place doesn't have to conform to any reality's rules if we don't want it to.

There are dimensional travellers here, yes? Find one of them willing to transport medic, dead troll, and witness to a space less inclined to follow will over reality. [They shrug.]

Anhelia Aescar Life after death is harder than it looks

It's rare because it's a lot of work and expensive, and it requires measures taken before death, preferably a long time before. Mostly in that it's necessary to insert the nails in order that the soul be unable to leave the body on death. Once it's gone, you're done. Then they basically ... allow a specially crafted infection to slowly replace the dead tissue with living within the existing matrix, basically growing a new body in the shell of the old. Once that's done -- it takes about a month -- they add new organs to it in order to sustain the new life, and set it going, and then the soul is positioned correctly and linked in and thoroughly nailed down, and it's done. Except for teaching the revenant Eternal how to use a body again. And how to take care of the new flesh.

I could see something similar happening naturally, but I haven't seen such.

Yeah, there are but I dunno if this place actually applies to normal dimensional travelling rules.

Interesting! It's the soul bit that's hard, of course, but to grow an entirely new frame from a substrate is surely no small task either! An infection base, you said? What sort of infection, how does that work? [What do you mean, not everyone is a nerd with access to technical medical documents?]

...I will admit the "teaching the revenant how to use and care for its frame" is a tad disturbing, but that's likely just cultural associations on my end.

  20. Silverburst

    Fair enough.

How would such a theory be proved to Norm's satisfaction, then, if Cronus there can summon whatever "proof" they please?
