There was a time when going to a pride parade got people severely injured or killed all the time. That time was in living memory. That time was 20 damn years ago. It hasn't been like that recently--but if (it's still if) we end up with a very conservative government come tomorrow, there will be people trying to bring that atmosphere back. They still had pride parades in those days. And now there are millions of people who know damn well they deserve better than to be shoved into closets and ignored.

This might be pretty bad. There will be a lot of people right next to us trying too. Stick with us, please. All those things and people around you will be there in the morning. It won't all end. We'll have time to think.

Look, I'm going to be blunt and a little mean about this.

If you die, then that means we have a Trump presidency and a dead cis white guy who didn't have anything to do with that on top of it. Who might be queer or brainweird or really young and generally a gentle soul regardless, since I don't know much about you besides "seems pretty nice" and "blames self for Nazi Cheeto despite at no fault at it". And even if your death meant that every single red-leaning Cis White Man who hates the queers and browns was to simultaneously die as well, I would not want that because nobody here wants them to die. They just want them to stop hurting people.

Hurting yourself in an attempt to make up for the faults of insane strangers who do not care about you or us is really stupid. Don't do it. Please call the suicide hotline listed earlier in this thread, or the crisis hotline. Take care of yourself, because goddamnit, worst case scenario you're going to need to be alive in four years to help vote him out and to also live on as proof that you can be a cis man and not a total cockgobbling sexist/racist/homophobic fucksandwich.

it would be neat to have like just tons of lighthouses on pal's rocks with bridges running between them and boat houses and other boat buildings lashed to the bottoms. we could build like, an interconnected sky greenhouse at the tops instead of giant lights in some of them and rip off a bunch of rich assholes in other countries as branding the produce 'specialty foods' from this weird nation. plus we could probably get a decent tourism flow with our cool lights city with the floating gardens.
