@Loq It's an original manuscript of a religious text. It's super valuable.

 

Imagine it as being like... the manuscript of the Bible from which our translations derive. (ManuscriptS? I honestly have no idea wrt Bible history)

 

there would be a significant number of those. probably the biggest find would be the Q text - an as-yet-undiscovered original source, probably a book of Jesus' sayings, which was used as a basis by both Matthew and Luke, but not Mark.

 

I think a better metaphor would be the original transcription of the text of the Quran.
