...and we will totally remember what it is at some point. Historical note: This forum was originally for overflow from discussions of the Brainbent AU homestuck stories and stuff, and ended up with a lot of "discussions of personal brainweird", like "discussions of what it is like having ADHD". Because a lot of discussions about brain problems end up being sort of complaint-ish, it then also acquired the function of having "venting" in it. So at this point, there's a lot of threads here which are intended as "vent threads" even if they are not so labeled, and there's at least a few threads which aren't intended that way, and there's no real labeling or categorizing, and I got nothin' man. I'm gonna see if I can find a way to add tags or labels or something.
Update: There's now a "Vent" thread prefix you can put on a thread to explicitly indicate that you want it treated as a vent thread (implies that people should mostly not argue with you in the thread). EDIT: And thanks to research by sirsparklepants, we now know that you can fix this by editing your thread title, there's a drop-down for it.
can that be done to preexisting threads or only when making a new thread? if the red vent tag can be added to preexisting threads: how? thanks!
It's so red! Like an alarm light! I think I like it. (Eta: I like that it stands out in a contrasting way, precisely because that means it's very hard to overlook.)
Experiment with my own thread shows that it can be added to existing threads by editing the title. There will be a drop down box next to it that you can add vent with.
