(seriously I've been rewatching it and trying to drag as many people in as I can. i love all my kids, i want them back and having adventures now.)

I'm gonna have to rewatch the whole thing when the new season comes out. So very hype, but I can't remember a damn thing that happens in the show since it's been so long :P

 

I think this weekend calls for a rewatch binge while I catch up on some arting.

 

I have honestly been thinking about doing a kintsugi rec room binge of the seasons, so we could all watch together. Or, well. So some of us could watch together, depending on time zones and things.

if Red Hood shows up, actually seeing an in-canon Jason doesn't make me hate him.

(Fandom interpretation of him is pretty all over the goddamn place, and as far as I can tell this is (at least in part) accurately reflective of comic canon, but since fic is fic I'm also p certain woobification and Draco-in-leather-pants has had a big hand in shaping the version of him I've come to like.)

Artemis IS great it's true.

And yeah we have a bunch of cool female characters with complexity and well roundedness and flaws but hey we could also focus on the guys again and again and again...

(Kaldur also gets way under used. Fun fact: there are more fanfics shipping superboy with someone he is 8 years older than and had no dialogue or onscreen interaction with, than there are fics shipping kaldur with ANYONE.)

((I am aware they are a viable couple in the comics but frankly STOP TAGGING YOUR COMICS FIC WITH ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE COMICS TAG. IT'S IRRITATING. THE UNIVERSES DON'T MESH.))

My big hopes for season 3 are the appearances of Cass Cain and Stephanie Brown, because I love them. Maybe more Tim because he's my favorite, and a Jason whose trauma and Issues are treated respectfully. (I just really love the batkids.)

Anyway, my favorites in season one are Dick and Artemis, and in season two Bart and Tim, although I like comics Tim better.

Hi! Yeah more batkids would be fun. Technically Stephanie has shown up, but in a small cameo role, so.

I also do love cartoon Bart. He is a fun guy.

 

Ah, I missed that! I'm going to take that as a sign that maybe she'll be more likely to show up in season three. It never hurts to be optimistic, right?
