With that said, I just now finished reading the whole damn thing, after binge reading more than half of it in a single day. I may be confused about points of the story, but I am absolutely in love with the style, the storytelling, how expressive everyone is.. Fuck, I have reasons to love every character in here in one way or another.

This is a place to scream about this series. Your own discretion is recommended w/ what needs to be under spoilers, but sticking to Better Safe Than Sorry brand may be best wrt content and plot spoilers.

 

So. This face sums up how i feel after finishing everything up earlier and staying up hella late to rest the bulk of it super early this morning.

 

Once you're caught up, btw, I highly recommend checking out the creator's blog and going through the ffak+faqs tag, where she answers a bunch of questions about lore and other background stuff FFAK won't necessarily go into detail about. I love their* worldbuilding.

* Kosmic's pronouns are either he she or they but they liked them shuffled if possible so I'm going to refer to him with a mix but I understand that might be hard for some people to parse... sorry!

You might see a lot of recent questions from wuyaofthewoods... which is me, haha. I try not to deluge Kosmic with them but they always seem happy to answer!

anyone else having that Next button problem on the site or is it rlly just me? (whoops i already sent them an ask about it but just in case.) i had to manually enter numbers for quite some time to get all the way current.

 

I never had issues with the button, but there were a number of missing pages (unless that's the issue you meant?)

 

yeah. i stopped having the Next button be an option about... 30-40ish pages before the latest page available itself, and had to manually go up in numbers in the url.

 

That sounds tedious, shheesh, I hope that it gets fixed. :(

I am... Super into the different species and the hierarchies/social structures that she's creating. I am really looking forward to learning more!

I finished binge reading this yesterday as well! It's fascinating, and I'm kind of super invested now.

I've not been having any problems using the next button, but I think I've been reading it on a tumblr blog? It's a little hard to tell.

Knife is my favorite character, and I'm like 99% sure this is because of leftover midnight crew feelings. The crime! The violence! The alien biology! The weird hate romance?? There's even something akin to stabdads, but canon! Honestly, as someone who was really into spades slick for a while I've never felt so personally catered to.
