It was one of the shitty revolution issues. I thiiiiink it mainly happened in the one where the micronauts put her in bondage and she had giant floppy boobs? It was a BAD issue. But she tried to reach out to optimus for something, and he was like haha yeahhh nope and totally ignored her, and she went home and was disappointed and decided she couldn't depend on him.

Concept: a living, conscious titan connecting their space bridge to a titan who is.... not that thing, that's a jarring, quietly horror-flavored experience. Which at this point basically means Metroplex or Metrotitan connecting to any of the others. Oooooh, and never even mind the frankenbridge that Tyrest built. That's an interesting idea I've gotta think about. Also, in OP10, Metroplex and Metrotitan have the exact same frames. Same asymmetrical details and everything. Is Ramondelli being lazy, or are they supposed to legit be twins? I can't recall anything, but worldbuilding lore keeps getting dropped in issues with art that hurts my reading comprehension :T
If they are, and the 'metro-' part is a hint to that, like a shared name thing, I think it's even funnier that Metrotitan is named Metrotitan. It's basically City Parts and City Titan, it's super on-the-nose naming even for Transformers.

So there's the thing with Metroplex that MS never got to write, where he gets a holoavatar and heads out to find out what's up with Kids These Days in the city. I am not honestly a huge fan of that idea, I like Titan existence being complicated and distant and that's why we have cityspeakers. But. Imagine Metrotitan gets a holoavatar. And I mean... dude was married to a bird. Imagine a giant house-sized pigeon wandering around on earth, and nobody knows quite what to do. Because.... turns out titans have an Issue with scale. Okay, that makes sense. Okay. But nobody can quite manage to communicate to him that nooo no you don't want to look like a bird, you want to look like a human. I'm pretty sure Rewind's tank alt is a reference to MTMTE 1 where he gripes about the others not taking him seriously because "he turns into a giant memory stick and not a... super space tank or - or - whatever."
The main problem with the rewind toy is how small his head is (so it can tuck into his chest). This is highlighted I think in Dave Willis' repaint and head replacement to create a Lug toy. She looks wonderful... except for the weird head proportion. But it's a very accurate look for her because her root mode frame was actually based on this specific Rewind toy. The head thing gets emphasized further when placed next to Willis' homebrew Anode (repainted Windblade with a custom head)
Also rewind's alt in that toy isn't a cassette, it's a datapad. The cassette stickers are for what's displayed on his screen.
