I've been following him on Tumblr for a few years now. He does readings of a lot of stuff like that, goofy Tumblr text posts, etc. and it's great.

I watched all his vines even though I still only have a vague idea of what that site even was.

 

(Also at this point I can't unhear his Edgeworth voice any time I see anything Ace Attorney at all. It would be a curse if his Edgeworth voice wasn't just. So great.)

I can't understand why I'd let anyone else fuel my vehicle, tbh. it means a) talking to another person b) handing them my debit card? possibly?? how does the payment part work c) letting someone else do things to my vehicle

admittedly I am physically able to get out of my car and fuel it, so it is probably a useful service for people who are not me. but the idea that it would be the default that people STAUNCHLY DEFEND is just so weird.

 

We briefly went through New Jersey and I do believe the attendant took the credit card to do the payment. It was disconcerting.

To be totally fair, as a teenager with an undiagnosed anxiety disorder, filling up the car was completely nerve wracking. Pumping gas is simple enough that people don’t really think to show you repeatedly until you’re comfortable. But it’s something where you have to do multiple steps in public with an interface that isn’t always totally cooperative, and it feels extremely obvious if you’re not confident.
