I think I'm finally getting close to happy with how to do Cherubs. All I need to figure out is the arms/hands really, and possible a second pass on the feet, and then I'm solid.

They're distinct enough that they arn't just plain dinosaurs, and I think they evoke both skeletons and snakes, despite being fleshy and tetrapods respectively. The big keel will be the anchor to some huge wing muscles when they grow those, and there should be enough room on the limbs to make LE's giant overmuscled-ness obvious and different and hopefully Wrong.

That looks fantastic, I love it! If I had one gripe it's that the legs seem a bit too thin to support the body? Not by a huge amount though, and given that they're supposed to look kinda eldritch it actually could work!

Which part of the legs? TBH I'm not completely convinced on the legs, since my trolls also have a similar stance and I'm trying to vary everything

The calf/shin area, specifically. Might work better if it were a touch closer to the width of the thighs? It's a very minor nitpick, though, and I'm no expert on anatomy, so YMMV on that.

I drew most of this literal years ago, and it's only now that I've finished it and am attempting to clean it up.

WIP because it needs to be recorded with better sound equipment and also I don't speak German, so my pronunciations are off in a lot of places, but here:
