My Royaltystuck AU idea changed rapidly on some worldbuilding from courtly romance to cosmic horror. Interesting mix.

 

Mood when you're trying to write down a specific action, but you don't really know how to describe it without getting too wordy

 

they're making a new Cats: The Musical movie and the cast is breaking my mind a little

 

I want to quit my job because my boss and her sister are getting on my nerves. They’ve pressured me into going to a three day landmark forum thing even though I kept telling them no. Her sister cornered me in the back room of the business and stood in front of the dishwasher when I was trying to load dishes and just basically stared me down with this huge smile on her face. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in my life.

 

What. The. Fuck.

Is there anyone you can report to thats above their heads? I'm pretty sure that counts as harassment.

 

Unfortunately it’s a small business and they own it haha. Also there isn’t really an hr. (The sister who cornered me in the back says she’s hr, but no one I work with takes her seriously.). I’m kind of thankful that someone who used to work for them is going so I won’t be alone, and they’re paying for us to go. It’s still weird though.

 

Have you considered “getting food poisoning” the day the thing starts?

 

I’m also just... sick of living in New Jersey. Everything’s too expensive, people drive badly. Someone recommend me a better state.

 

I live in Maine and it’s pretty nice! As long as you don’t require your cities to be big

 

I don’t need a big city. It’s suburban where I live now, it’s near a highway. I just like walking everywhere and I have no drivers license because driving really stresses me out, so as long as it’s not rural it’s fine.

 

I live in Portland (which is the biggest city in Maine) and if you live near enough to downtown, everything essential is walkable! The public transport system isn't the greatest but it gets the job done, according to my sibling who's used it much more than I. If you need to get somewhere on the outskirts or out of the city things get more tricky but there are still some buses I think.

It's basically a scaled-down version of Portland Oregon, but colder and without the trains! The scenery is nice too! And we just finally got rid of our asshole mini-Trump former governor by implementing ranked-choice voting! I don't Do Things very much or I'd tell you more about events and stuff in the city but it's a nice place to live

 

Sat down my boss and told her I didn’t want to go to the forum, so now I don’t have to go. Still want to quit and move though because I hate it here. I was thinking about Pennsylvania.

 

PA is pretty but I hate driving through it.

 

There’s only going to be 2 or 3 people at work tomorrow and it’s Super Bowl Sunday. I don’t know how well it’s going to go.

 

if you're lucky, no customers are gonna be there cause they already did their shopping and they're at home watching the game. if you're not... well, I'm working tomorrow too, so you're not alone, pal.

 

What was that one movie called where a bunch of young aduts make up a fake college with fake courses and used tuition to do whatever they wanted to make it keep running
