Babysat neighbour's kid, which included making her lunch and dinner, getting her to do all her homework, getting her to practice the song she needs to play for her recital tomorrow, and getting her to brush her teeth (twice, because she decided she Absolutely Had to have a snack after she'd already brushed her teeth the first time). All of this to a non-stop soundtrack of Spongebob.

And! Telling her "no, quit trying to grab the sharpie and go scribble on the ornaments with it, I will put you in time out and put the sharpie in the garage if you don't knock it off", and generally being a Good Babysitter (and impressing mom with my parenting skills, because she got a peek at them since we had to go on an Adventure across the field between kid's house and my house, because she ran out of ketchup for her chicken nuggets; the kid wanted chicken nuggets, and broccoli, and mashed potatoes - I agreed to "chicken nuggets and broccoli, and if you still have room after finishing that, we can talk about mashed potatoes"...mostly because I really didn't want to make mashed potatoes at someone else's house).

    • Showered
    • Cleaned the kitchen sink area
    • Dishes
    • Replaced cutlery with the stuff in the canteen which was unopened since our wedding (seriously what's the point of having nice stuff if it sits in a cupboard forever)
    • Put laundry away
    • Tub cleaned washing machine
    • Put on a wash of the microfibre cleaning cloths
    • Vacuumed the shower room walls and floor
    • Called up about not being able to book the delivery of an item I ordered (fuck that particular courier company and their endlessly unavailable "web help" and no contact number. Sales company very helpful, though.)

I did (most of) the grocery shopping today! It took two trips on the bus and multiple trips up and down the stairs, but I got it done. Tomorrow: taking out garbage and sweeping/mopping. (hopefully)

Successfully went to job and Did Job. Did not run screaming out into the snow after the fifth hour of filling little boxes with coffee condiments. Remembered to stop and take a break for lunch.

Started cleaning my bedroom properly and sorting my clothes. Made a list of stuff I'll need to take into account for relaunching my Etsy business and asked around on Fiverr for people who can help me with a plan for that.
