does anyone use twitch for game mods?

i'm having two problems with it that i could really use some pointers on:

1: when i open it, it always gives me a 'no games found' screen for world of warcraft. i don't have wow, i've never played it on this computer, i don't think i've ever even opened the wow mods list, why is it doing this? ideally i want it to open with my minecraft mods libary, because that's the only thing i even have it for. but mainly i'm just. super confused. why did it pick that particular thing to open with. which of the many options and preferences menus has the one for this. what's it called. too many choices, not enough documentation.

2: i would also like to use it for stardew valley mods, but it cannot find my copy of stardew, which i got from a source other than twitch or steam. i can navigate to the game in my app folder but not click on it. twitch does not recognize it as a thing. how fix?

Hm, so based on this: https://help.twitch.tv/customer/en/...ide-to-focusing-on-addons-mods#AddonsAtLaunch

and my turning that addons at launch thing on and it jumping to darkest dungeon (which i have not played, tho i think i do have it downloaded), i suspect you have that turned on and twitch just jumps to the first thing in its moddable things list. so if you do have that turned on, and turn it off, i suspect you will launch into the main screen (which is what mine did before) instead of WoW.

given my moddable things list includes WoW, which i also have never played on this computer, i guess some stuff it just. tosses in there by default?

still dunno how to get it to open to a specific add-on dealie, but ima keep looking bc i also only use twitch for minecraft mods and sparing a click would be delightful.

EDIT: oh, i forgot to mention, the docs are out of date? you want the "Addons" tab, not the "General" one

looking for a way to maybe remove extraneous shit from my mods menu? this is a curious thing, i tried to disable twitch managing addons for darkest dungeon and it popped up with "Are you sure you want to disable WoW Addons for Darkest Dungeon?" i guess WoW is a deeper default than was immediately apparent??

ok, disabling it and the other version under the same page and...

FASCINATING. it now defaults to the no games found world of warcraft page for me too! even tho minecraft was second in the mods menu list after darkest dungeon.

I can also get it to dump me on the main page instead if i disable addons entirely*.

*entirely for everything but minecraft, bc minecraft is entirely separate and special. i assume this is bc twitch absorbed the curse launcher or client or whatever a while back? idek.

anyway this is not a good solution for you since you want to use twitch for SDV mods. but it's only science if you write it down, so! :P

thank you for doing science! yeah, clicking through from the wow addons screen is no harder than clicking through from the main screen, and if i can get it to recognize sdv i want to use those too. honestly the twitch interface is kind of a huge mess.
