I like this font a lot better than Times New Roman except for those o/0s.

The 0/O/o thing is what really throws me off. I love the font, that's really my only issue with it, as my eyesight is beyond terrible.

EDIT: in hindsight, this is something I should've probably taken to it's own individual thread. Sorry mods! :(

If it's possible to set default font in the same manner you can set your theme, I think that'd be a lot better because I would lose my mind at a full forum with the default being TNR.

The slight thinness of the letters comes out more pronounced in certain ones (like the s) and far less in others (like the word 'job' above) which makes the text seem very wonky when I'm trying to read it.

Also it doesn't help that I use the site at 90% magnification due to the size of the icons, so the size difference of the two fonts is incredibly noticeable.

Yeah, I think an option to set a default font would be really useful—the O/0 thing always throws me a little too, but I totally understand why some people prefer this specific font.

You can also set the font that your browser uses and I think make it overwrite what the forum itself says to do?

i don't know of a sane way to add modular settings to the themes or site config, but i think you can do it with local browser stylesheets, if your browser permits that.

I was going to say, font sounds like something you could change with a special theme or something? I bet if we changed the font for everyone, someone would have trouble with the new font and want to go back.

What font is the website supposed to be in, because I'm on mobile and a o/O/0 all seem reasonably distinct?

If you're running Android, I believe your system font will overwrite the font of most websites.

^Looks like this on my laptop, and I think the same on mobile for me but I'm an iPhone user and idk if you are or not? The zero definitely looks thinner in your screenshot...

    lowercase o, capital O, zero

Android also has a lot of variations within system fonts. Each Android device shows fonts differently, seeing as Android is (technically) an open source mobile OS. This allows different devs to allow their Android device to be more unique to their brand.

EDIT: I had labeled the characters wrong in the spoiler

I only just now got the notification for your message, my apologies. I'll explore my browser a bit more to see if I can change it there.

Kind of a niche use case, but if you follow a thread and then decide to Ignore it, the Follow still continues to happen and it will give you notifications on update, which you can click to go read the thread. Is this intended?
