SPECIALIST SEEN. i am now... prescribed an abdomen compression thing to see how that helps, and i can try the thigh highs again in tandem with it if im feeling saucy. 3.5 liters of water a day, half water and half pedialyte somehow, 8-10grams of salt per day religiously no matter what, new physical therapy shit that's Hard and i got put on the Magic Pills for pots at a low dose. I should be quite better in about.... 8 months or so, if I bust my ass and keep crawling. and if not quite better, then still at least better than i am now which tbh i'll fucking take it.

the pots seems to be happening because of the eds stuff and not anything else.

also apparently during my tilt table my pulse went from 50-90 and just Hovered there. which matches up to what happens normally tbh, bouncing from 90 to 140ish but with my blood pressure tanking.

fingers crossed for magic pill effectiveness. this is a pill specifically for orthostatic hypotension so fingers AND toes mcfucking crossed lads.

 

also now that roomie doing the admissions counselor thing i learned a neat thing about osu: to get a degree in women's gender and sexuality and stuff, you HAVE to take multiple classes about women of color. you literally cannot get your degree on white feminism alone, you will be unable to graduate. Not just one class. Multiple classes. bless'em.

anyone else kinda lowkey/highkey shit bricks when they start a new medicine because "ah fuck what kinda side effects might be involved THIS time through the fucking revolving doors."

 

oh my gods yes. especially after my early adulthood experience where it took me months to realize that none of my doctors had even THOUGHT TO MENTION that every single one of the half-dozen meds they'd recently prescribed had nasty digestive side-effects. i get a bit ridiculous about reading all labels and doing extra research at this point.

 

impressions of new medicine! bc it doesn't last super long, i have to take it 3x per day. i'm. gonna have to rlly RLLY keep track of this shit. up side, any side effects i DO have won't last super long. side effects so far was some tingling scalp and some ouch behind my eyes, but nothing super serious.

Get new meds, immediately sleep through alarm for the first time ever. I've missed two appointments with this place now and i'm lowkey "AAAAAAAAAAAAA" out of worry it'll affect my using the place moving forward. ;v; I messaged him and explained though, and i've got my packet for next time, so. fingers crossed. i'm. so fucking tired today. i'm hoping the "fatigue and sleepiness" side effect is not a permanent one, bc like. last night i was up LATE despite being sleepy earlier in the night, because I was suddenly WIDE THE FUCK AWAKE and ready to party. (I did not party, I cuddled my cat till she was a puddle on my chest purring under my nose)

im also at that daydreaming plotting stage where the initial idea and overarching plan for the plot of that story work, but i need to formulate an antagonist and some struggles that'll be interesting and help the folks grow. got some ideas but its slow going. trying to make and fall in love with the characters so i can know what makes them tick easier.

 

i have no self control, i made a MASSIVE bowl of popcorn and the entire thing is Gone. fairly fast, too. and no i don't mean big i mean "I had a large plastic mixing bowl's worth of popcorn".

takeaway tho: IM TOO GAY TO FUNCTION AT SHADOWBOX STILL, JESUS. everyone's so attractive, i fucking die. great singers, amazing dancers and actors, all the girls are hot as fuck and most of the dudes make me make eyes too. just. jesus. jesus im so hype still.

also my meds helped!!!! a lot!!! i had my legs down the entire time and didn't wind up wilty and sick right away, and didn't have burning feet and throbbing legs!! I JUST HAD NORMAL BUTT ACHE FROM SITTING IN CHAIR AND MY KNEE CRAMPED A BIT. NO NUMBNESS OR THROBBING!! NO BLOOD POOLING TO DEATH! NONE! NONE AT ALL!! i feel like i could fucking punch god! I MIGHT. and tomorrow's even cooler because i get to get my abdominal compression thing at the store that's closer tomorrow and imma get a coffee afterward. :3c might check and see if there's anything interesting in the thrift store and if there's any discount pokemon plushies at the gamestop as well..

i slept late and immediately got up and went to get my abdomen compression since they'd called earlyish to say i could pick it up any time. took my pills, headed out. ...wasn't light headed immediately. it took about 2 blocks of walking to have symptoms instead of immediate symptoms getting worse. was surprised. but got the belly wrap, and got some cheap taco bell while i was there too bc Salty and craving.

so, while i was in hospital for surgery, the Big Litterbox With Lid arrived by mail and my roomie set it up. kricket has terrible aim and the other one was too small, and the old lidded box had broken.. so the smartest thing to do was to just. get a new sturdier box with lid. it wound up being fucking GIGANTIC, but that's fine by me. plenty of room for her to move around in and do her business without being compacted. :shrug:

the big kitty, Scout, never figured out the clear force field door inside. she didn't know what to do with it, and was upset she could no longer pee all over Kricket's things.

just now, two and a half months later, she figured out how to get in. took a leak. cried because she was Trapped Forever, got out, then meowed a lot because "what the fuck was that, omf g did you see that" and left.

nothing is sacred anymore, kricket is So Upset ahahaha what a goon.
