    So I have like. Very frequent sinus pressure headaches. I do not know why. I just know the bastards get inflamed constantly and it makes life Unpleasant. Does anyone have any suggestions or like ideas as to what the fuck?

    medically speaking, are you aware of anything within your nasal cavity being sensitive or overgrown? during my tonsil surgery, i was told that my sinus problems were almost overwhelmingly caused by ... something within my nose being bigger than anticipated. they were removed, and my nose became a lot less blocked & my sinus issues decreased massively. i would name names but the specific term slips my mind. ;;

    and then obvious point: have you tried the neti pot?

    I have not because I just kind of assumed I had to suffer with a nigh constant stuffy nose for...some. Reason.

    I am bad at just accepting pain as part of Existence.

    I wasn't even aware that those existed. Huh.

    it might be something to look into! it could be possible that it only came up in my tonsil surgery since i was getting the surgery for breathing-related issues and if you've ever gotten your tonsils removed, it was overlooked.

    oh, man, the neti pot gets proposed to me like every time. i will warn you that from everyone i've heard that: the neti pot hurts! it's unpleasant. nonetheless disregarding how uncomfortable it is, everyone gives it a glowing review to helping sinus related headaches.

    I've never had my tonsils removed.

    also i'd honestly rather have like some sort of temporary discomfort over headaches so bad that i can't do much more than lay down

    Ok. Trying out this weird nose teapot thing. First use of it went...ok? A bit weird but I've had far harsher mixtures up there because of surf. Was a bit worried because I know what it's like to have salt water up there. Not that bad, though! Pretty gentle all things considered. Breathed in through the nose once but thankfully it was easy enough to stop that reflex.

    thank you buddhism for teaching me how to control and always be aware of breathing

    Have you been checked for perfume/aerosol allergy? It can also cause inflammation in the airways.

    I avoid perfumes like the devil because they give me headaches actually...I've never had it checked though...

    it might be possible to be something like a mite/dust allergy, they like to present like that (especially if the sinus pressure headaches are more pronounced after you get up and mellow out over the course of the day) but I also support the 'something in your nose' thing. When I was a tiny I had a minor surgery to remove nasal polyps which essentially fixed my ear pain issues - the location of the polyps was interfering with inner ear pressure. But it's entirely possible for these bastards to interfere with the sinuses/sit in there too and Cause Problems On Purpose so that might be worth checking out?

    Ok it has been a while. Since taking up a habit of nasal cleanse my sinus problems seem to be mostly dealt with. So yay. Thank you for helping! It is nicer to not be having headaches all the time...
