I am now also Kanto Regional Champion and need to buy more potions.
Trying for Battle Tower lvl 50 Ribbons with Blorbo (from my Pokeymons) the Walrein, Fungal the Breloom, and Dopey the Swampert. Current best is 45 wins, after which I wiped to a Latios.
Secondhand Nintendo DS and Pokemons Pearl and SoulSilver arrived in the mail!
I don't have everything on my Gen 3 games yet, but that's okay, I can't transfer Mons from there until I've reached the Hall of Fame in Gen 4, which will be a while, if I don't stop getting distracted by catching and levelling every possible Mon in the newbie routes.
(But what if *this* one happens to be an extremely good Pokemon that won't be available later, and will help me a lot if I just level it up from 5 to 12?)
I swear to god the handholding in gen 7 is gonna drive me insane. please just park the npc somewhere I can interact with them as I like and let me explore the damn area without sitting through a cutscene every 15 seconds. I don't know if they thought I would somehow miss the incredibly obvious cave entrance without Lillie standing in front of it, or if they wanted to push the friendship between the MC and the two kid companions, but I have felt way more attached to the rivals in every other gen where they appear to have lives outside of clinging to my ankles.
pokemon yandere? what would the other version be called
yandere and tsundere? I'm not up on my -deres, that's the only other -dere I know
Spoiler: Scarlet spoilers, negative talk
This game is fucking dogshit so far. I'm in school and I better be not be in school soon or I'm gonna be pissed. I'm still going to play it through though. Because special interest won't let me not
really? because I got it yesterday and I'm loving it so far. the smorgasbord of options is a bit overwhelming, but open world rpgs always are for me, and that's my only real complaint so far (other than the fact you can't turn off exp share or play in set mode :P).
and don't worry, you don't have to spend long in the school before they turn you lose!
To be fair I was very tired last night and have trauma centered around school related things, so that's good to hear. My only real complaint are the cutscenes feel really frequent and drawn out in the beginning
My DS started to act up and I had to replace it with a DS Lite, but I have been working away at Poekmon Pearl and here is my team so far (about to challenge Volkner's Gym):
Also very happy about this - I got all four Beauty Contest ribbons on my Milotic in Pokemon Sapphire, and the Ribbon for having art painted of her. Together with the Champion Ribbon and Effort Ribbon, she is coming forward with me to Gen 4 as soon as possible. :)
I have *finally* managed to get some Battle Tower ribbons. (The level 50 one in Sapphire at least, I am *not* levelling my Mans to 100, that's just not happening.) The key insight was to not try to switch out into a better Pokemon every time, just try to do as much damage as possible with the first slot and then switch out once it faints. Winning team was Dopey the Swampert with Earthquake, Surf and Ice Beam on point for the attack, Fungal the Braeloom with Toxic, Leech Seed and Mega Drain for stalling out Water and Ground types, and Steve Jr. the Metagross as backup against the enemy Toxic stalls. Also a bit of luck when the NPCs did not choose the best possible attack every turn.
