My cousin’s cat Sebastian pops into my room sometimes to say hi, but he mostly likes to lay where people want to go, like in the bathroom doorway where he then refuses to move even if you try to close the door.

This is the only way we can feed Lupin at the moment - she has to be dropper fed because her tongue has gone completely nacrotic from tumours spreading up from her throat, and at 19 the chances of her surviving surgery or chemo are so slim that we're doing the merciful thing next Wednesday and having her put to sleep.

She's my best friend. I've had her for a good two thirds of my life now, and I don't really know what to do. I don't know how I'll go on without her, to be honest.
