Story time.

There's a wildlife sanctuary near where I live. A few nights ago some thieves broke in and stole a bobcat named Evi and canoed away, intending to put her up for sale. Evi didn't like being stolen and fought them over it, escaped, and is now loose somewhere in the wilds of Lookout Mountain. The sanctuary and quite a few hikers are keeping an eye out for her, and there have been a couple sightings so far.

Evi says no exotic animal black market trading.

Winner for the bobcat, witnessed (and like a gold star sticker darwin award) for the stupid fucks who thought they could just straight up handle a wild cat without thoroughly sedating her first XDD

 

Apparently, someone's actually managed to capture and characterize some Corsican foxcats. Those were already known to exist, but basically cryptids otherwise. It's looking like they're technically feral cats, but in much the same way that a dingo is technically a feral dog.

 

Evi update: she’s been spotted on the conservation property, So she’s safe from cars, hunters, and most predators, and now it’s just a matter of trapping her and bringing her home. The burglars barely got her out of her enclosure before she fucked them up and ran.
