Making a new gravity falls thread because the old one is four years old and I am finally sitting down and watching the whole thing through Dipper has such astonishing trans boy energy its unreal.
Update: on season 2 now (having the main spoilers for stuff is making this hilarious), the way they deal with dipper's crush is really cute and probably validating if you're twelve tbh
I loved that a lot! And honestly I thought Wendy handled it quite maturely—she was honest about the situation, but she made a point to express that he’s still her friend, and I think that’s about the best possible way you can turn someone down, regardless of your reason for rejecting their advances (clarifying edit: assuming they’re not like...harassing you or creeping obvs). Like, I think that’s something genuinely important to show kids, and I really applaud how they handled it. :D
