The title is pretty much a tl:dr of the situation. To put it simply my bf who lives out of state (and best friend for many years) is living in a emotionally abusive home and I want to help him get out of there. He's ready to leave as well but the thing stopping us is money. I work part time and live at home and he is currently getting less than ten hours a week at work. I want to help him get away from there as soon as I can but neither of us are sure how to go about starting it. Really We're just looking for any suggestions on anyway he could get from Florida to Tennessee on a shoestring budget and how to cover things like his medications once we do figure something out.
