Decided to make a thread. Probably won't update it much.

Currently trying to finish a knitted gift for my brother before he comes to visit so I'm kind of in lurk mode anyway.

Ahh thank you! I was going through random folders of pics to find one to use and I forgot where I found this.

I've been on a Pokemon kick lately (even if I don't have the new games yet) so it seemed fitting.

 

So far this site seems to be one where I want to post and not just lurk, so we'll see how long that lasts.

 

I'm just pretending to be a Pikachu.

I'm actually a Mimikyu whose cloth disguise is really good. (Ghost types are my favorite anyway!)

 

I may use the word "actually" too much.

Pretty much every other word out of my mouth is either "like" or a swear, so mood.

 

I'm almost done with my brother's blanket. I need to finish the border, tuck in all the ends, and give it a wash to soften it up and get the cat hair off of it.

And, brother's blanket is done! I'm not sure when he's coming (it depends on his schedule and COVID stuff) but it's ready.

It's always a weird feeling when I finish a project I've been working on for a long time.

 

I'd like to have a Pokemon IRL.

Most of my favorites might not work too well IRL though (since I'm especially fond of Ghost types), but maybe I would have an Eevee or a Skitty or something. (Or a Pikachu, but I've got a feeling I'd get shocked a lot...)

I actually don't care if Internet randos know I like knitting, Pokemon, and purple things. (Which clearly I need to combine someday and knit something purple and Pokemon-related. Or crochet something purple and Pokemon-related as I could probably find a good amigurumi pattern for a purple Pokemon... hmm.)

 

I mean, what in this thread would people even use against me? "Lol you watch stupid shows"? "Lol you knit blankets like a grandma"?

 

My cat's been so incredibly snuggly and lovey lately; I feel blessed.

Got a new computer coming for work, since the old one decided to die yesterday. So that should be fun to set up. At least it was in the budget since I'd been kind of expecting the work computer to die for over a year now.
