Ok so my parents hosted a party today. I have spent the last three days prepping for it, so I am burnt the fuck out. Then I have to be social, ew. Now there was children thrown on top of it! Screaming loud young children. Awesome. Best of all, they fucking like to mess with me. I was playing on the Xbox, got up to get food, came back and controller was gone. Eventually found it deliberately placed under a chair. Of course I was on the verge of full on panic before I found it.

How the fuck do people do this??

When my parents host a party, I hide in my room or go to someone else's house for the night. Not sure how useful that is for you. I also don't really know how to do deal with shitty kids unless you're able to exert some control over them. Can you get their parents to keep them from bothering you?

(Also, while alcohol is generally not advice I would give... Alcohol.)

I am going to eat all the jello shots now. I generally have 0 control of any part of the situation, plus I am required to be where people can talk to me

Do not eat too many Jell-O shots. Thanks ipad for correcting jello to Jell-O. I think, if you can take regular rest breaks by hiding in your room or the bathroom for say 5 mins every hour, that can also help.
