Okay that is probably the strangest title ive even written but hey! I'm making a probability math game for school, which will basically be a completely luck based game of life. And there is a deck of cards of life events in it but I have not started on these yet. Because I needed positive and negative life events to put on the cards I need at least 10 positive 10 negative, I need a life event and a points increase/decrease ex: you are in a car accident -250 you win the lottery +1000 also ones that stick around ex: you get a job! keep this card and get +5 points every turn of yours Your rent goes up keep this card and get -5 points every turn of yours SO yeah! try to keep things... relatively light hearted, as the 5th graders will be there, and it is a boardgame
Gonna ramble bad: you lose your job you contract/develop a chronic illness you break your leg your long-term relationship ends you don't realize until you've made your coffee that you have no milk or sugar you lose your favourite book/piece of jewelry you fall for a scam your house gets egged your house loses power while you're at work and everything in your fridge goes bad you lose your house/apartment due to a natural disaster good: you find someone awesome to spend your life with you discover a new talent you eat the best meal you've ever tasted you attend an event that changes your life for the better/inspires you you buy a house you find a great apartment to rent you run into an old friend you get a clean bill of health from the doctor you discover your purpose in life
Bad: Your vehicle needs maintenance. Spend X points before 1d6 turns elapse (# kept secret from you) or loose Y (larger#) points. Your computer dies. You develop or discover a food allergy. You become allergic to your favorite food! Good: You learn a new skill. You get a new computer! You discover a new favorite food! Thing you've been wanting is on sale. If you have X points available, spend them now and receive Y points for the next Z turns.
