So the point of the game is simple: connect one Wikipedia article to another seemingly unrelated one in six degrees or fewer. Okay, maybe that's not simple. It goes like this: Alex: Connect "Hurricane Irma" to "congenital disorder." Bob: "Hurricane Irma" links to "Virgin Islands," which links to "tobacco," which links to "cigarettes," which links to "congenital disorder." Bob would then proceed to give another two articles to connect. Make sure to test that your two articles can be connected in six links or less! Okay, got it? I think I'll start: Connect Steven Universe to Aristophanes.
Steven Universe --> Semiotics -> Ancient Greek --> Fifth-Century Athens --> Aristophanes! next challenge: Fossils to Color Theory
Easy! Fossils --> Bones --> Pigment --> Color --> Color Theory Next challenge: Color Theory to Buddhism
How did you do it? I imagine there's multiple ways, but my frist thought was that charred bones were used to make black paint, so I kinda started from that. EDIT: also, you probably could skip straight from "Pigment" to "Color Theory", but I was lazy and went to "color" first because typing "color theory" with Ctrl+F didn't work ;P
Color theory > Visual Arts > History of Asian art > Buddhist art > Buddhism! (I'll post another challenge when I'm not phone...)
necroing the thread because a wikidive took me in a weird direction today! Starbucks to A. A. Milne: GO
