Our city held a park event today, and I got to supervise the library's giant checkers set! We hand made this massive 10 x 8 foot board and cut and painted the giant pieces and it was an absolute hit! The kids loved it Downside is that I'm a clown fool and got really sunburnt, but I'm not feeling it yet so only glee remains rn :b
Maybe kinda weird to be happy about, but I tried my first non alcoholic beer and it did not disappoint! I can't have alcohol but love the rich, bitter taste and it was so good with my chicken sandwich. It was a Budweiser zero if anyone's interested, most basic of basic but nice
I qualified for extra benefits, and I accidentally slipped and stepped on my ferret but I was lucky enough not to put enough weight down to hurt her and she seems fine! (Still monitoring her just in case but she's shown no symptoms over twelve hours so she should be okay.)
Update: it was so fun and I cannot stop smiling and I cannot concentrate on work. I wanna shout about this from the rooftop and tell everyone
Found a UK store which sells actually nice clothes in plus sizes at non-extortionate prices and I want to cry.
It was written for my neighbourhood about my neighbourhood by someone from my neighbourhood, and it was very amateur, but lots of fun! It was about people from the neighbourhood who participated in a talent show and none of them actually have any talent. I played an uppity student who wanted to do a monologue from an important play, that I picked myself, that turned out to be lyrics to a mediocre song. In the end I got to storm off in a huff XD
