@ChelG @Deresto I know I'm a few days late with this, but ... if y'all are legit interested in Doing a Thing, I'm super down. A Project would be really good for me tbh. Also open to anyone else! Soo IIRC Chel wanted to do something Homestuckesque with cool animations and shit? And we established they (sorry, on mobile, can't check pronouns) love character design, I love to plot and write, and Deresto can draw. I'm also good w/ planning and herding people in general. Second thing would be: what kind of thing do we want to make? I personally like adventure, fantasy and mystery genres, but I'm open.
Yay! ^_^ I don't think we should use this thread for just making one specific thing; I was thinking of a thread where we list our talents and interests and ideas and find people to work with us on them. Though a massive Kintsugi project would be amazing too. (Also for future reference I'm a she. No offence taken at all :))

I can: Write -- both prose and script (see To the Wolves, my IFComp 2016 entry) Plot Manage projects/wrangle people Use Unity and Gamemaker Host things, probably -- I have a domain and hosting plan, and while I'm still working out how to use 'em, we could put things there. Like I said, I like writing mystery, adventure and fantasy, but I'm pretty flexible. I'm happy to do pretty much any kind of project! I really just want something to work on tbh.
Okay, I can: Write good prose Design characters and settings Do character interactions Come up with scenarios and starting ideas Pick colours for art Sort of draw very simple cartoons Specialise in fantasy and horror Terrible at sticking to deadlines without nagging or finding plots to actually use the story starter ideas I have, can't program or do music at all. Love mysteries but am crap at them. Have been planning a novel-size story with characters who've been in my head since I was fifteen and have a very vague plot idea, really need help to work on it or it'll never get anywhere.

Hello i'd be up for combining my powers with other people's I can Draw people. I mostly do traditional art and don't have very much practice with coloring. Here's some recent stuff I have... The drawing part of comics, at least in theory. I did take classes for 3 years :p Program I'm bad at writing and having ideas. I'd be interested in participating in any kind of project probably

I am particularly good at, in no semblance of order: really painful things (my posts in the Escape From Homeworld planning thread are a good way to see that...) sci-fi (my AO3 name is istie: all my published fanworks are Mass Effect, though I also did a Wolf 359 fic last week which I posted in that thread) nailing down characters' voices/distinguishing between characters' voices brainstorming and plotting, identifying plot holes worldbuilding is fun and good for you i'm semi-decent at writing smut, but that's an area where everyone's mileage may vary, so *shrug* Other things I can do: HTML/CSS spreadsheets (i am damn good at spreadsheets) research editing (formatting, grammar/spelling etc, and content critique) sing (it's kinda my irl job) same vein: i'm good at talking. i can do a handful of accents decently (British, Scottish, Russian) and could practice to do more. good at reading aloud steadily and with expression. i've done a few audiobooks for my own/my family's enjoyment before. also the Kintsugi in Space podcast episode, long long ago. further along in the same vein: I speak French fluently (Franco-Manitoban accent though), and a little bit of German. however, I am very good at figuring out how to pronounce things, bc that's a large part of my musical training. i can pronounce German and Italian very well, and could figure out ... more or less anything else. other music things, including electronic music (i like making ambient stuff, fucking around with samplers) minor graphics editing (recolouring, small edits...) graphic design, primarily layout (ran a newspaper for two years, using InDesign) Things I am not so good at: kicking my own ass solving really tangled plot problems i absolutely have the "if it's not perfect it's not finished" perfectionism style (see: kicking my own ass)
If anyone's looking for stuff to join in with, I have some characters and very rough ideas of setting and story. It's a steampunky urban fantasy, with a cast including a Fantasy Counterpart Culture hijabi, a boy with autism and anxiety, a snarky Artful Dodger takeoff, and a teen mum, pitted against the head doctor of an Orphanage of Fear, involving a murder mystery and magical experimentation.
