I honestly don't know how I resisted the siren call of catboy for so long. He's so cute. And expressive in cutscenes! Someone(s) poured a lot of love into their animations.

Seeing a video where the ear wiggles featured was the thing that planted the seeds of WANT CATBOY... not sure how I held out so long. I guess I had to find a character design I just couldn't resist.

 

Not getting into glamour much until I've figured out a fashion aesthetic for him, but he wears this set well (dyed to not be purple because that's really not his color).

I find myself extremely charmed by catboy /think. It's just as cute as the male au ra version, but in a different way. The bonking his knuckles on his head and the frustrated head tilt at the end is just perfect. And of course I love the /sit pose that's just a low crouch. Can't wait to do enough fashion report to get /aback because that is the cutest damn thing.

It was inevitable that I made a catboy eventually... if it weren't for male au ra and their curvy hourglass figures, my first alt would have been a catboy.

 

You actually don't have to do fashion report at all for /aback! You just gotta unlock it and then it'll be available from the vendor.

 

Figuring out an aesthetic for my cat is... hard... I don't really have a personality worked out for him yet, though, so no wonder.

I've got an elegant femme goth (Iolis), a street fashion jock (Yisun), a hippie/druid (Fawn), and a... hm. Suave dad??? (Mimir, who would probably just hate that description). I got Coco'a the pvp laurel wreath headpiece so I might work toward a Romanish inspired look, but idk.

 

One thing I know for certain is that he is Very Cat -- while bounding over fences and leaping from tall things is headcanonically only a sometimes thing for my other characters, it's the default for Coco'a. (He does the stand/sit on tall things to be Taller cat thing, which most of the others don't remotely need to do... and Fawn doesn't do because he can't reach. >_>)

I just went through all of the catboy emotes to show J and there was much cooing from both of us at the sheer amount of ear wiggle and tail flick. Then I put Coco'a to bed for the night and there was yet more cooing at the way he climbed onto the bed and curled up just like one of our cats, complete with tucking his head under his arm and flicking his tail to settle it. T_T SO CUTE.

 

Restarting FFXII with English voice acting was a good idea. Struggling through the first part that's Only Vaan was painful because he's so annoying but once Balthier and Fran appear on the scene, everything is instantly 1000% better. Their voices...! *swoon* (But then, Gideon Emery has the kind of voice that I could listen to read a phone book and be happy.)

Gideon Emery's voice is the main reason Fenris is hot. The glowing tattoos help, but still.
