Question about pencil/pen/stylus drawing; I'm pretty certain I'm holding the utensil wrong, because it makes my hand cramp up really badly really quickly. Might just be lack of practice because I haven't handwritten much in years but I want to make sure. What's the best way to grip a pencil?
I can't speak for the "best" way, but as a note: if you change your default grip, it's gonna take a while for your writing and drawing to look as good as it did before. I hold my pen in a very nonstandard fashion myself and when I tried holding it "normally" everything I did looked awful. It's probably something you could work through if you had to, but yeah. Fair warning.
