S2 IS ALREADY SLAPPING Spoiler: separate tides thoughts: new intro is real cool!! apple is a hat :) the babby selkidomus is shaped like a friend and i want a plush one so like. the golden guard tho. i’m kinda leaning towards the theory that he’s somehow related to the clawthornes? between the owl mask and his apparently prodigious magical abilities…doesn’t seem like a huge stretch. obviously there’s not really enough info to theorycraft much here yet, but that’s my suspicion at least. :P
owl house!! i'm caught up on what's currently out, i think. love the world, all the casually meaty-boney stuff just hanging out, and god, seeing explicitly queer kid characters on a disney show is what i can only describe as a positivity whiplash from the world in general. i hope that however the ending goes, they'll stay in contact because I HAVE ALREADY MENTALLY ADOPTED THEM. is anyone else as absolutely flashed by how amazing the fights are animated at times? especially the big eda vs. lilith one. that bit blew my socks clean off 8D

lol i was disappointed to see no one's talked about hunting palisman or eclipse lake Spoiler: eclipse lake I really thought this episode was something special... because Hunter and Amity are so similar, the fact he voices all the fucked up thoughts Amity has and she has to go 'what that's fucked up' is in a way, good for her too I think. they end up on a really bad note here, but I'd love if the two of them did actually become friends. TRAUMA BUDDIES. about hunter in general Spoiler I am such a sucker for characters who are fixated on doing this one thing and if they can't do it they might as well be dead, and well, probably because I'm also like that But Hunter makes me feel so so so so sad, I really hope the guy gets a happy ending. It's hard to explain concisely, but the more I've thought about the narrative threads of Eda=being experienced with wild magic, Hunter=having a profound interest in wild magic, Eda's empty nest syndrome, Hunter's need for a responsible guardian, etc. the more likely I end up thinking Eda adopting Hunter down the line genuinely is. At first I thought it was just me thinking 'how nice' but I think there's a series of narrative threads that make it plausible as an endgame
also found this post on artificial magic and it has some really interesting connections: (spoilers for up to hunting palismen) https://marypenelope.tumblr.com/post/658570184210120704/artificial-magic
@Charlie Spoiler: re: hunter and eda Y E S, I love that! I agree that it’s plausible, too (Eda is a reverse Steven I s2g)—I seriously hope it’s endgame too.
Someone in a server I’m in shared a witchsona picrew! I thought it was v fun, here is Me (I feel like I’d be either an illusionist or a bard but idk which so I made both)
i don't even go here (due to lack of spoons and attention span, not lack of interest) but that's a great picrew
I would do so much for Hunter to have a happy ending. I would offer a bucket of my blood. for hunter to be happy. If I can't be happy he at least needs to be happy damnit
