Also I chose Mr mime as a symbol for itachi not being able to say the real reason he killed his clan. Also it's psychic fairy, and I like to think most Uchiha are "encouraged" to pick psychic types, but deep down itachi is definitely a fairy type lover. Hence the creepiest Pokemon hands down for the most troubled and toxic character

Fuck it, Steven Universe Pokemon AU Steven and Connie are newbie trainers setting out on their journey together (also falling for each other along the way because Jam Buds is a good and righteous thing), idk what their respective partner Pokemon are but one of them definitely has a Litleo (that Lion) Dr. Maheswaran is PROFESSOR Maheswaran here and is the Delmarva region’s Pokemon professor Greg is a traveling NPC who drives around in his van and shows up at key times with helpful items or advice (more on him later) The gym leaders are…the GEM leaders lol In rough order with types (sorting them by what I would assume their difficulty levels would be bc Pokemon logic): Peridot: Electric, also has a pet Pumpkaboo and would die for her without hesitation Amethyst: Poison, 200% has a Trubbish on her team, also has a Ditto and a Wobbuffet and several Rattatas Jasper: Fighting, all her Pokemon MUST be at LEAST as beefy as her Bismuth: Ground Pearl: Fairy, also currently caring for the team a certain late gym leader left behind and crying a lot about it Lapis: Water OBVIOUSLY Garnet: Psychic, definitely also has a tiny Skitty that she loves dearly (aka Cat Steven) Ruby/Sapphire: They lead together because they’re gay, kinda like Tate and Liza but lesbians instead of twins and also their teams are different types to raise the difficulty level—Fire for Ruby and Ice for Sapphire obviously. This gym is specifically designed to be as obnoxious to beat as possible and your only hope is that they get too distracted by each other to battle (which is of course an extremely common occurrence) Rose was a Grass gym leader and then obviously died for babby reasons Idk who the Elite Four are but Greg is secretly the Champion Team Diamond are the bad guys, Rose was formerly Admin Pink but fucked off and changed her identity Onion is a post-game trainer with all level 100 shiny legendaries with moves and abilities they cannot legitimately acquire.
I was talking to someone an a writing club server about a star wars x good omens crossover with Obi-Wan as Aziraphale and Maul as Crowley, and she was just like "but what if Maul is Aziraphale and Obi-Wan is Crowley?" and Absolutely blew my mind.
