I want a reverse survival horror game where a Lone Man With an Axe is trying to build his way to survival in a hostile environment, but you're the hostile environment and the dude is the enemy. So you're sending over ghosts to harass him and idk squirrels to steal supplies and maybe figure out his crafting recipes to know what resources you can keep away to mitigate the most damage. The AI on the Lone Dude would be fucking insane which is why I assume this isn't a real game yet. The goal is killing him before he finishes his portal and summons his Minecraft friends or something. I don't know, just spitballing here.
A combat game where your only form of defense is literal face-tanking. In particular, the rest your character's body is basically one-hit KO.
It wouldn't work if you tried to use a dynamic AI. It'd change the genre but if you scripted things you could make a kind of puzzle out of it.
An rpg where there's a debuff stat that if one of the party members gets hit with it, the other party members need a certain resistance for the debuff to not affect the party. Otherwise party cohesion starts to fall apart. Spoiler The debuff is called "cringe"
A Legend of Zelda style game where the Princess says a bunch of mysterious stuff to the Hero and then disappears for like the entire game while the Hero goes on an Epic Quest and fights a bunch of monsters and fetches a bunch of magical talismans and a sword and then challenges the Villain to a fight. But the Hero loses and the Villain reveals that he cannot be killed by the magic sword due to Hidden Weak Point reasons. Only for the game to reveal that the entire Quest was a distraction, Lord of the Rings style, and you switch to playing as the Princess, starting from the point where she leaves the Hero, and go through a convoluted stealth assassination plot to uncover the Weak Point and hit it while the Villain is monologuing.
