That really sucks. Wasn't it supposed to be three seasons initially? I know that they opted to condense it but I wonder why. I wonder if they just never got renewed, which is fucking weird because GF is, as far as I can tell, among the only really popular shows on Disney Channel. Seems like canceling it would've been a really strange move, but they did schedule it really oddly from pretty much the beginning...I wonder if it just kinda got screwed by the network in the same way Futurama did by Fox (basically changing the schedule all the time and never announcing it, thus leading to a drop in ratings).
Could have, but Alex did say that this was a conscious decision of his when they started working on the second season. Still though... guess it's time to start lookin' for a new obsession.
Things've felt a little rushed since he got here, too. It would've been nice to have a little more time to get to know him, explore the new family dynamics, build up to the end more gradually. I feel like the way things've gone is okay, if not ideal.
i've counted and if not what he seems is included, ford has been in six episodes. and if he is saved from being gold, he might be in one or two more.
so basically ford has had zero character building or developement on a series scale. which i think just is really unfair to him as a character because stan got so much space and time to develope and become a really cool guy and bond with the twins so much. I kinda wish ford had gotten even a fraction of this attention because unless in these two episodes they pull some really rushed talks, the series will end with mabel just not having bonded with ford pretty much at all? which kind of sucks.
Y'know, I'm pretty cool with the fact that Alex has hinted that while the series is ending, the Gravity Falls universe is still going to truck along in some fashion. Maybe we'll see a second summer, maybe we'll see a series focused on some other characters, or one in a different time, etc. (Maybe we'll have a series wherein Dipper is clerkin' about and complaining time to time that he wasn't supposed to be in today and then the Graview Faskewniverse will be complete)
I'm looking forward to Escape from Reality! I wasn't really expecting a second season, so it's nice to know how many eps we have left.

Spoiler: Spoiled like Pacifica I am surprised how much of that we actually called in IPT&P404 aka the former shitposting rave. We didn't Princess Lisa Bubblegum Frank it enough and we didn't have a trial but we sure had that party and the extra fake Dipper. Also I firmly believe that my hasubando actually does know why they can't get out of the town because he did it. They had way more unicorn hair than they needed. I bet somebody hot built a Bill trap. And he ain't dead YET anyways.
