Someone had kidnapped a celebrity & was livestreaming her - I can't remember if he had any kind of demands? I think he was just super mad at her and was gonna kill her no matter what - and counting down to her death, and the plot followed the squad trying to figure out where she was being held & what this guy's deal was in time to save her life
She'd been some kind of rude to his little sister, who had killed herself after her biggest idol wasn't the sort of instant bff she wanted, so his plan was to ~make her committ suicide~/for him to slit her wrists on stream. Think he had her very classically taped/tied to a chair for most of it?

that's all i've got! unsurprisingly searching "tv show celebrity hostage suicide" does not turn up any useful results whatsoever :')
i just remember SO clearly my grandparents realising this show was Not For Erica and me begging to be allowed to keep watching bc not knowing if she gets saved or not would be a thousand times worse........

Would it be Untraceable, by any chance? The details are different, but it's the closest thing I can think of to this premise.

There is this anime I liked a lot when it came out (not sure if it was a lot of time ago or not cause my sense of time is fucked), it was about girls working out and stuff. There was a minor plotline with arm wrestling? Anyways I want to watch it again but when I google "muscle girl anime" I just get lists of jacked anime girls. I'm not complaining by any means, but I'd really just like to watch the show again

Is it Dumbbell Nan-Kilo Moteru? That's what came up when I googled weight lifting girl anime and it looks like it's got an arm wrestling scene.

hey, I've actually seen a bit of that! the running gag of the gym trainer guy looking like a normal anime dude when he's clothed but being absurdly jacked when he takes his shirt off (but still having the same moeblob face) was the funniest shit.
