Wait. He doesn't know that she's sentient?? Why is he fucking her? I have concerns.

(Aside: I am assuming here that you mean sapient, because sci-fi/fantasy authors all seem to get the two mixed up, from DND to Star Wars to virtually everything else I've encountered. But I am having fun with the mental image that he doesn't know that she's sentient; that is, that she can feel things and react to outside stimulus. He thinks she's a statue. He thinks he's fucking a gargoyle.)
