How's coli grinding going? It looks like people are only getting chests at best once every 6 minutes (according to one of those math threads), but I don't have enough familiar material built up to make alchemizing chests possible and I haven't gotten even one chest from gathering yet.
I got two chests from gathering yesterday and one today; in the coli yesterday, it took me a couple of hours to get two chests, but I was area hopping every time I got a familiar or a chest. I leveled 4 exaltees in the Mire just a bit ago and no chests, although I saw a lot of living statues. Swipp seems to be a good bet, especially if you have materials left over from last year. The swaps are the food and the item each particular mimic drops, in quantities of, idk, 15-20? Also, we can now toss the bears in the cauldron, which I am SO GLAD about. I have such a surplus of those dratted things already.
When I coli grinded last year I particularly remember parking my ass in the arena because the most mimics stayed there and I would get max mimics a lot there. They would drop the goods often. Is that not true anymore?
I haven't tried the Arena yet because I'm still sick of it. Two and a half years' worth of holiday festivals have ruined me!
I think the arena is just going to forever be the holiday venue. Beat up kangaroos and llamas to get to those chests.
Haven't gotten a chest yet from coli (I can only grind in the small hours of the morning when the site is least crowded). Did two from baldwin while I slept, got a jawlocker THAT I ALREADY HAD FROM LAST YEAR, THANKS and a piece of the apparel, which is ok. I'm not huge on apparel but it's purple witchy shit. I assume we're going to to wind up using this thread for trading?
I don't have the spoons to coli grind. I'll probably just buy the familiars since that's what I care about
Trading is an excellent idea! I have dupes of.. well, a fuckton of the regular bears, but I assume you guys have those too. But I also have duplicates of some mirror bears, and I can brew extra Baldwin witchy apparel.

I have absolutely terrible luck apparently because so far I have only gotten one chest. That's it. |D I've run across a lot of mimics in the coli, but so far haven't even gotten a familiar out of them... I am the least lucky noodle :I
