If I've ever really had any in-depth XP with forum-based roleplay I've forgotten it, but I heard that this was the place to bring poor orphaned fantrolls for fun and shenanigans? I tried to join FLARPing soon before it bombed, and I was wondering if there'd be anyone out there willing to maybe help me out because I'm coddamn floundering here XDD Hope some of that makes a little sense and there's some-one out there who's friendly :)
hi. and yep, there's roleplaying here, though i think the ones going on - though fantrolls are in some of them (boat trolls, of course, the shitposting rave 2 and the weirdmageddon tango) - mostly aren't specifically fantroll-based, however. and if you're wondering, no, i don't have any fantrolls.
Yeah, there's only a couple of big games going on so far. There's interest, certainly. We've got a couple of threads around about our fantrolls, and reviving old threads is very kosher here. I've got a couple, but none that I'm playing here right now. (Aside from occasionally posting in the shitposting rave as my trollsona)

Also, I forgot to mention this but one of my issues is that I'm SUPER dense about potential unwritten rules. For example an anyone join in on the shitposting rave, or is it is just fictional characters? Do I just jump into the current convo or...?
The shitposting rave is open to everyone! :D I made it so we'd have a place to continue messing around with our subaccounts and doing freeform banter roleplay. You can jump in there and just chat, or test out roleplaying a character, or whatever. eta (edited to add): There's no real rules about who can and can't interact with each other. The unspoken rule is, if it's in SPR, anyone can respond to it.
