Escape From Homeworld: Planning/Gemsona stuff goes here

Ay I'm a little late to the party but that's ok because I don't actually have any gems on Homeworld... BUT if/when they all get to Earth (if that's where they're headed? I only skimmed the thread, I might have missed it) they could possibly use a friendly face to help them out, right?

In which case they could possibly meet Zincite?

So yeah, they could maybe run into Zincite who at first panics because he thinks they're there to attack but then he finds out they're fleeing and then he's like "OH OKAY LET ME HELP I CAN PROTECT YOU" and they're maybe confused about why he looks like he does and he's just like "because I wanna :'D"

 

this Amethyst is a well known jerk and has bully tendencies but she really cares about her Pearl in a weird way if only because she's hers. She's also proper Quartz sized, obviously.

idk if the plan is earth actually? maybe, i think right now their plan is to run the hell away once stuff starts going downhill

 

OK I have read the backlog of this thread, now to figure out which characters I want to use! I have Celestine, of course, but I also have a Black Opal (called Pinfire after she joined the rebellion on Earth in a different thing) who was basically designed to have the accessory-support stuff of a Pearl and the combat of a Quartz, like a guard dog or something? And I'm fond of her (even if I still can't make her properly in the dolldivine maker...) but hm.

 

Black Opal sounds nice and could maybe teach the pearls to fight?

 

Ooh, that could work. Who should she 'belong' to for now, do you think? Her main color other than black is red, if that helps.

 

I feel like meeting Black Opal would probably have to happen post-rebellion ... because any Pearls in her company would almost certainly be marked as Bad News Bears. that being said, Training Montage!!! 8D

 

A training montage would be great.

 

I also have Celestine, who's probably rare-ish (she's made for scouting/air support in combat, so they're specialized I guess?) but without much respect. Kind of a curiosity, if nothing else, and useful. And yes training montage sounds fun!

 

Yeah exactly, rn the plan is basically 'plan what plan we're trying to just not die here' - although I know Haematite will probably help them uh, commandeer a ship once the idea of getting off planet surfaces. It definitely would help if they could actually get away from Homeworld. And yeah, Black Opal sounds awesome! (I have a real soft spot for them IRL - I was born in Australia and my Grandma on that side had a whole bunch of them XD)

 

i love all opals i wish i could wear tons of opal jewelry all day erryday but shit son are they ever expensive.
That being said! if Opal belongs to someone in white diamond's court and has more leeway than a Pearl would have we could probably wing it that way to get her on board.
Celestine sounds awesome too!

@KarrinBlue maybe a high-ranking Quartz, like Jasper or higher? someone military who needs a specialized servant... OR a really high-ranking diplomat who needs both an excellent bodyguard and a status symbol, and who has the pull to get away with creating gems like Black Opal. i'd lean towards the latter but that's just me.

 

Oh, by the way, this is basically what I think of for Black Opal's Gem (though the shape is a bit off) and here is what she looks like, except she has actual shoes.

 

And yeah, a high-ranking diplomat does sound fun! I guess I'll mess around in the dollmaker to see what I can come up with. She'd likely be red, hm, any thoughts on Gem type?
