Amethyst is a goddamn dick and of course has Lavender carry a bunch of weapons around in her gem
which retrieving those probably looked a lot like Utena swordpulls but the creepy kind not the awesome kinds. But that means that if it's needed Lavender has a few axes she can pull out of no where but she has no idea how to use them and they are made for a quartz, meaing they are massive as hell.

also poor Tourmaline just getting left behind. Lavender has things to do and places to be she can't get stolen by pretty pirates yet :P

Oooh wait. What if. The car stolen is the one that Red Topaz and Black Opal are going to? Black Opal could actually drive that one, and it might be funny!

Gray is hatching a plan to run Onyx off a skyway - and then, if she doesn't die in the attempt, she's going to come find other people.

I suspect that Gray will not want to keep a stolen car around - so if we can somehow get Red Topaz out of the picture, perhaps it wouldn't be so strange for Black Opal to have her mistress' car?

 

This happened in Weirdmageddon Tango.

The person she was presenting these proposals to was Stanford Pines. (She is currently his other apprentice.)

She kept on coming up with ideas that scared him. He realized she doesn't have enough math yet to understand why 'there's a chance it could work' and 'it will work' are not the same thing, because she's a yellowblood and hasn't been properly educated especially not for her brilliance.

After a few more proposals, Ford snapped (very sweetly, because he actually loves how scary and paranoid she is, she's like, even more his mini-me than Dipper is) and said "There will be no black holes, neutron stars, antimatter or demon summoning in this lab, because I said so!"

And Stan got it on tape.

Also, a quick question, since CG!Pearl was alluded to: Are any of the Crystal Gems going to be appearing, maybe as NPCs?

 

Carnelian can get poofed at some point in attempted self-or-Pearl-defense, she just wants the hell outta here

Seriously, I'm not sure how to get Black Opal with the rest of the Pearls

 

Helenite's personality seems passive and cheerful, but she's not an idiot, and she's figured out once Helenites go into production she'll probably be, well... not broken, but she'll no longer be top-of-the-line. She'll be a flawed prototype and, worst comes to worst, poofed and kept immobile as a sort of interesting historical artifact.

And, unfortunately for her designers, she's a 'flawed' prototype in that she's willing to do something about this, although she's not showing her hand until she thinks she's actually got a chance of escaping or changing something.

Thinking of also giving her some mental deviations from how gems (including pearls) normally are. Really pushing the concept she's experimental and Something New.

 

Like. She genuinely has a somewhat alien mindset from gems (and humans), she's just been trained to HIDE it.

 

@KarrinBlue hm. is she the type to just say "nope fuck you" and leave? 'cause that's an option. or maybe Gray could happen upon Red Topaz's place after she crashes Onyx's shuttle and steals Baroque Pearl?

 

And Baroque makes her first appearance! :D I should've clarified that "not far away" meant "in a nearby mansion," but...yeah.
