Escape From Homeworld: Planning/Gemsona stuff goes here

I....cannot handle more than two. two is The Limit for me. two is almost too many. two is where I stop.
like, two major characters is it, that's all I can do. I'm okay with doing their owners for a few posts 'cause I know they won't show up again, but I don't expect to involve any other characters of mine, no matter how many I may have, because I can only play so many at a time, minor or otherwise.

I have built up my ability to track two characters over many years of RPing. like seven years of RPing. and in that time I have gone from "how do manage character" to "ah yes, two characters I can handle!"

@KarrinBlue agreed that it might seem like menial work. but yeah, also thinking about whether she might consider it a "heeeeey if my super-specialized Opal can apprehend all these Pearls that would be promotion material". up to you! i just know we're kind of stuck in the "how to get Pinfire aboard the rebel train", so, i dunno.

ETA - it might seem less menial if it was discovered that the Pearls are no longer operating on their own? like, needing to take down a Quartz and other non-Pearl gems is a little less demeaning than being assigned to take down a bunch of Pearls.

but how to get her to crush Maggi?
hmmmm....maybe she goes to crush Gold because 'goddammit you useless Pearl you're not getting in my way again' and then Maggi gets in the way and gets crushed herself? and Amber then realizes she's in danger and runs off?

edit: wait, Maggi's poofed.....hmmmmmmmmm.

 

i was about to suggest some of the Pearls fusing and getting one of the axes Lav has, but they're poofed so that's less of an option

maybe Gold gets poofed and then Amber accidentally crushes Maggi because she confuses her with Gold in the fighting?

 

yeah, that works.
they drop Maggi's gem, and she's just like "UGH STUPID PEARLS!" and steps on Maggi and crushes her.

 

isnt maggi the more reckless and childlike of the two? maybe she got impatient and reformed, causing enough of commotion that amber pauses before crushing, then maggi seeing whats about to happen tries to fight amber maybe?

 

resulting in a collective "YOU BITCH"

Amber's definitely a 'kick them while they're down' type person. and she regards Pearls as non-people, so she wouldn't see an issue with taking her anger out on another defenseless Pearl.

 

oooooh, that could be fun! we could have a Pearl thread and a thread for the antagonists and they could coincide occasionally and I could continue to play around with Amber and Almandine's characters!
