I do wonder how that sort of fusion would work. And what sort of personality would result. (I keep thinking that combining Lavender "low key crushing on everyone in this rebellion" Pearl and Red "I want all of you to be crushed slowly and painfully" Topaz would result in their fusion having really weird foe yay with everyone else.)

omg y'all think about the concept of a spades fusion. obv it wouldn't work for Topaz/Lav 'cause that's in no fuckin' way a healthy spade. but just. hot damn.

also, i wonder if forced fusions are even possible? what sort of requirements would that have? a severely unhealthy dom/sub relationship would work - and we already have Pearls undergoing 'forced fusions' with each other, but that's not really under the same type of duress.

writer brain: so...Gems don't lose coherency of thought with lack of air because they don't really breathe...you can't really daze a Gem that way and get them to do what you want ...

i dunno! this is all just spitballing. if we like (slash angst-like) an attempt at a forced fusion, i'm okay with that - whether it works or not, that could piss everyone off enough to poof Topaz, or it could work and then the fusion would fail or be split or w/e. or if we don't like it, then Topaz gains some clarity and calls on Black Opal who then (I think?) turns on her and poofs her herself. thoughts?

Red throws Lav across the room, tries to coax Gold over. maybe this is prompted by Gold trying to 'have second thoughts' (when has she had first thoughts) about rebelling, and tries to get everyone to stand down so they can go back to their owners and maybe not get killed? i mean i doubt she'd like the prospect of being sold again or being made into a crown or something. i dunno. that's @alex right?
