I don't know HOW she will end up involved but she will

 

I think I'm definitly into the idea of having an active opposition even if I might not be playing too much on tht side of things. If only because Lavender has all these dumbass shonen protagonist moments and they are fun as hell

 

I mean, Amber got crushed
but Almandine might make a nice refined villain?
she could at some point also possibly tempt Gold with the possibility of being a Pearl who belongs to someone of high status maybe
maybe Almandine catches up with them or finds Gold when Gold is out and about or something and is like "Gold, be my informant! I promise it'll be great!"

I mean Amethyst is a spectacular brute so if she gets whisked along in the villainy stuff (possibly through Topaz since they both belong to BD's court?) she'll be excellent as the right hand woman/loaded pistol pointed at things you want gone type of villain

 

Almandine is definitely going to coax Gold into betraying the others at some point post poly Pearl pile
and then the others can feel shocked and betrayed
Rose may never forgive Gold

Also idk where Spinel was last but she should get to the shiphangar somehow so taht everyone can gather. With Topaz bubbled, Amber crushed and Black Opal tentatively part of the rebellion no one should be left that knows they are at the hangar ad would give chase immediately.

honestly I'mma put on my GM-privileges a bit here for a second. If it's okay with everyone I'd like to say we pull along characters if their players aren't here and the characters would stick with the group. With multiple timezones it gets really hard to keep the characters together otherwise, and this also makes it easier to jump back in if you can just assume your character has been following the group around without saying/doing anything out of the ordinary.
If that would not be what happens you can always leave instructions a la 'Rose will stay hidden in her room' or 'Lavender is gonna be piloting the ship while I'm away so we can keep travelling, it takes all her concentration, don't talk to the driver and so on' or stuff like that, so we all know what happens.
Basically assume your character is like an NPC in a bethesda game: keeps doing stuff according to a schedule/their needs/whatever is logically applicable while you aren't actively piloting them, just not directly doing plot relevant stuff until you're back.
Is that okay with everyone? This way we can't accidentally leave people behind.

That is probably the best method, so since Acey doesn't seem to have been in for Tektite, I'm gonna have Spinel jump in late here as soon as I finish catching up (been distracted by my other RPs all day). She's probably bringing her infiltration supplies, anyone want to suggest something she could bring?
