She backs away from Keran. Good job not telling anybody, and also not playing up the blood mage angle, Hawke.

I for one appreciate Varric's attempt to help keep this family together, Carver.

Well, is Sparrow suicidal enough to actually say 'hey I'm a mage!' in the middle of the gallows?

Hey! I'm a mage! (aka help poor oblivious cullen realize he's dealing with a mage by being suicidally explicit abt it.)

I mostly picked the suicidal one because I also don't see how this particular thing is the Templars' fault. Seems like a non sequitur to blame them, since it's not like the evil mages were doing it because they were BEIN' OPPRESSED or anything.

On the plus side, it wasn't suicidally dumb. On the minus side (or.. possibly also plus side?) Cullen still doesn't get it.

Carver has spent this whole quest trying to stop his sister from loudly outing herself as a mage.

I hope by DAI Cullen is periodically remembering saying this and wanting to sink into the ground and disappear. :::PPP

"Mages can light a city on fire in a fit of pique" well hell I didn't know Empress Celene was a mage this whole time.

Also, Hellpocalypse City is so fucked up that nonmages can get attention from demons. It's in one of the codexes. So, Cullen, not the best argument to make now.

I always imagine one morning Hawke and Varric are wrapping up their night at the Herald's Rest when Cullen kicks down the door, still in his pjs and with his hair only half straightened, yelling "HOLY SHIT HAWKE YOU'RE A MAGE!!" and they're like "...yes? dude you've known me for ten years"

ESPECIALLY FUNNY if you romance him with a mage inquisitor. Varric never lets him live it down.

i'm still not over that. >/

All these theatrics are somewhat unnecessary. (looks at Anders for confirmation)

Cullen rotates at the waist like a freshman in a mandatory fitness class doing that warm-up where you rotate at the waist.
I think "Keran's fine" is the special option we get for having checked him - it's got the star icon. So. That's my recommendation, unless for some reason we don't want to tell anyone?? (Cullen: And how did you find this out? Anders: UHH)

Also, for all that ONE BLOOD MAGE COULD DESTROY THE WORLD thing... the world seems to be not-destroyed? I mean, Tevinter actually HAS blood mages in power and, yes, their society sucks, but that is due mainly to the 'slavery' thing than the 'magic' thing. They trade, people live there, it's a society. And then you have the Dalish and Rivaini and Avvar and Nevarrans, who treat mages with respect, and well look at that, abominations and blood mages are a RARITY compared to Kirkwall and Kinloch Hold. It's almost like setting up an environment where mages are under constant stress and full of hopeless anger and fear is a good way to make them attractive to demons feeding on despair, anger, and fear!
