Which would make a great trick if you do it intentionally to someone who thinks you're a tool, but not so great if it happens by accident to someone you like.

Different dimension, different rules in play. Things will try to balance when they encounter outside influences. Perhaps with less drastic results than Ethus of course, but I wouldn't count on things working the way you're used to.

I get the impression that the guy has a lot of enemies. And that those enemies might also be the people that deserve having all their wealth taken from them, so... I think you should be able to see the problem now.

 

And some of them sound like they'd just accuse him of shit they can't explain etc., because he does things they don't understand, and they don't understand he's not playing by their rules either.
