Escape From Homeworld: Planning/Gemsona stuff goes here

I'm excited for when they actually leave Homeworld because I've decided that's when Spinel's actually going to sing in front of them for the first time.

 

@Dist we'd discussed briefly about how it was likely that Blue was also a clone, for pretty much those reasons - however no one's thought about her being sent as a spy, that's a really good plot device. so. definitely sticking that one in my brain for later.

ALSO. as much as learning to fight is fun and good for you, we should probably make our way offworld - or at least to somewhere more remote. i've got an idea to kickstart moving ahead, if people would be okay with that?

 

I was thinking the same thing kay, but as my character is the newcomer, i wasnt sure how to start that.
I'm all up for you starting something, since this small break of constant rp has given me enough time to do the homework due tomorrow.

for science's sake, here is a comparison of two pearls after two days, one in bleach and one in vinegar

(the vinegar one was also not in great shape by the end, but it was just kinda mushy and sort of still intact? the bleach absolutely wrecked the other one)

 

from my googling (i literally googled "how to destroy a pearl") it seems like there's plenty of misinformation and misunderstandings out there. i mean, your mom wasn't wrong, vinegar's not good either. any acid is bad for pearls. i just went for hardcore body horror. ... gem horror? gems are weird.

....So I should probably figure out what Celestine and Black Opal have been up to, right? Black Opal is probably just. On the ship somewhere. in the air vents maybe.

And Celestine... well, she could be tagging along with whatever the mission to recapture the Pearls is? If there's an official Homeworld squad out for that.

i had previously said that Melon was waiting in a ship with the others (seeing as until we stole Lab's ship we needed a getaway vehicle, so we would have rendezvoused with them), and that we landed beside her ship. do we want to edit that out and say that Melon is elsewhere?

As the OP, and in lieu of our official GM being currently indisposed - the answer to both your questions is definitely! ^_^

(aka all Gemsonas are welcome, but it's gotten involved enough at this point that we will definitely need to figure plot in order to work them/you in - and it does help to read what we've jammed so far. I would say read the main thread with what has happened so far, read as much of the planning as you can stand, then come and glub with the rest of us - peak time is usually in a couple of hours, if that helps.)
