if there's already a thread for this then please someone redirect me but otherwise HEY WHO ELSE READS THIS, PLEASE REPORT for those unfamiliar with it, NEO-KOSMOS is a relatively newly started webcomic by Shelby Cragg (who contributed to Homestuck, providing Calliope's Art/artstyle), Amber Rogers (egomatter on twitter and tumblr, a Steven Universe revisionist) and now also (joining announced with the latest update) Adrienne Garcia (paperseverywhere on tumblr, also working on Hiveswap). The latest update even has music by Toby Fox! (of Undertale fame, also responsibile for a lot of Homestuck music if you've been living under a fandom rock) it's got suuuuper cute art, and it's so far about human kids living in isolation and lesbian alien doctors. anything beyond that is spoilers- which, while i can't promise there won't be any in the rest of the thread, i'll at least avoid in the first post :P for those who have heard of it THERE WAS JUST AN UPDATE AND PLEASE GO CHECK IT OUT THERE'S ANIMATION AND SHIT

Spoiler: spoopspoop @peripheral lmao fuck 'should probably not' i definitely think they're hot- but then i have long embraced my xenophilic tendencies haha their openness for the kids making their own gender decisions makes sense, especially if they wanna study humans sociologically! (and yes it's just generally wonderful) and apparently they're single-gendered (i think) with 'they' pronouns typically- and 'she' is a pronoun used to indicate emotional closeness? Spoiler which makes xaveria's change of choice of pronouns for zehra all the more heartbreaking @blue saaaaame- tho this latest dialogue helps fill in a few gaps in the setting i was wondering about! Spoiler we've got multiple alien races (at least three shown onscreen, compies, notauris and whatever that one tye caught a glimpse of), we've got treaties between some of them. the attack on the raising facility was not a sanctioned 'act of war' or anything (which is an idea i was considering). but oh no now tye is basically on their own (provided xaveria isn't jUST LYING DOWN TO HAVE A NAP, COVERED IN BLUE KETCHUP)
o and egomatter shared a comic of their own on twitter+tumblr which features a compie cameo so we MIGHT be able to use that for possible-canon additional information!
