there's no way Almandine's back yet. she's the type to take her time and be like "oh poor me" inside her Gem, and make everyone wait, and then melodramatically return like "I'm back." she does have servants, Gem servants, though I don't know what kind of Gems they are, and they will almost certainly be bribe-able.

 

Oh shit I think I used escort too strongly. Menlo just wasn't sure if y'all trusted her to hop back over to the ship and search for the files. But I do think Menlo would volunteer to help y'all with lavender's mission because she has done infiltrate blend in missions before, just this time it won't end with her running out and maki a bunch of noise. But they might object to her coming because she still isn't a wanted person. Or they might think that's good. Idk

lavender is naturally trustful to a fault so she wouldn't see anythign wrong with it and thank Melo for helping so much when she could just ditch them basically :3

It's probably gray or spinel that'll think of the super sensible stuff and consider all the possibilities. (Not an insult to lab, just gray and spinel are the hold on slow down type people, from what I've seen)

 

yeah and lavender is VERY naive wrt expecting people to say true things and believing them when they say they're on her side.

 

Rose's main concern will probably be "are you sure you want to do that it's going to be dangerous and you aren't currently wanted and if we're seen/caught this will put you on the wanted list or worse are you really sure are you really really sure"

@Imoyram that's assuming that Lab gets the ship back, if Melo betrayed them. If Lab never gets the ship back, they're none the wiser.

I DONT KNOW WHY BUT THIS IS JUST REALLY FUNNY TO ME

 

Lavender is not wrong per se, but Amethyst is actually hosting a few of her grunt warriors right now because she's angry enough that she's misusing her command to put together a search adn destroy squad for the Pearls.
soooo up until the moment where they accidentally set off an alert they will have no problems and then suddenly a lot of fightey gem warriors will be very intent on crushing them :3

 

someone tell me if melo seems out of character.
I might try reworking the post if she does seem that way.
